BROADCAST FAX
1500'
Yesterday, Yusuf and I met with Johnny Chung, CEO and Chairman of Automated
20
Intelligent Systems Inc. ("AISI"). AISI's main service is broadcast fax capability. A
3,000.00
summary of their service follows:
-
AISI can send out 10,000 to 20,000 one pagers simultaneously. Total capacity is
approximately 2,000,000 documents.
-
Cost is $0.20 per page -- for any time of day.
-
AISI's service is used by governors, campaigns, and private sector firms. Johnny
claims that 87.9% of politicians who used his system were reelected.
-
References include Pete Wilson and Willie Brown of California. Johnny is also a
DNC Managing Trustee, and is very supportive of the Administration.
The completely automated process works as follows:
-
We provide AISI with the name, company, phone, and fax of our contacts.
-
They can accept information in almost any format (including hard copy).
-
We can segment these contacts into groups such as governors, appointees, etc.
-
AISI will input these names into the system quickly, and will provide us with a
"phonebook" that shows info for each contact.
-
We can update/revise/add to these lists by faxing information to AISI.
Everything is done almost instantaneously.
-
AISI has an 800 number and 24 hour/7 day support.
-
When we want to send out information, we simply fax AISI a cover sheet and the
materials to be faxed.
-
On the cover page, we indicate which groups should receive materials. Only
certain officials from the White House will have access to these cover sheets.
-
AISI's equipment receives info and checks for quality (good transmission)
-
If quality is good, the material is sent out immediately by their machine. No
hands ever touch the materials.
-
Faxes are sent simultaneously -- 10,000 can go in a matter of minutes.
-
Each recipient receives only materials (no cover page means less cost).
-
AISI will maintain a catalog of our information sent, for future reference.
-
Within minutes of faxing to AISI our materials, we will receive a transmission report.
-
This states who did and did not receive materials, and why not.
-
For busy numbers, AISI equipment will try up to seven times.
