Dear Mr. President,
As this new transition begins, I wanted to thank you and Hillary for the
opportunity you have given me over the past four years to serve in your
administration. It has been a wonderful experience. I have worked very hard to
represent you well at all times. I hope my small part has been successful for
you.
You have many more important considerations than my level of job. but aside
from saying that, I want you to know that I realize I serve at your pleasure and
will stop down if you feel you need this job for someone else and I will always be
grateful for the time I have had working for both of you. 1 would now or at an
time leave your administration knowing I have bcen a very fortunate person
because of you and Hillary. Your schedule is so busy, I did discuss this with
Hillary. Most of all, I will be happy to remain in the same or another capacity that
is helpful to you.
I hope there is some rest in sight during your vacation.
