The wind coming over the Top of a cliffs turns
I
in all directions and so past it picks the water
straight down and as it hit the water goes
off the surface in little gusts -"Williwas"
"Willy-waws" -
1760 test by harry's ansroid. It
was a Tiring climb as we were
all soft from inacturity aboard.
From the top looking inland is
as magnificant a fanorama of
snow capped prakes ao I could
have imagined in the alps: sharp
pointed steep, black masses,
with glaaming surfaces of snow
capping the tops and dripping
at the foot of these was a level
off into the cracks and valleyo.
valley that looked like Jackson's
Hole but contains / a long wide,
winding shining blue labe,
or two of them with a aibbon
of a stream connecting them.
The peaks are 4000 or 5000 feet
high possibly but impressive as
most of the height is sheer.
Coming down afforded us good
chinbing - not too hard- and several
three hundred fert on the snow.
