Your betters of the 14 th and 15th inst,
are before moder the pair of half dollar dies which
you pent ou the 12th have also arrived
! stated to M. Tyler that you advised
thing-the dies of 1838 be not used and I sugg ested
that it would be best to return them to you,
thought it not worth while I have to request that
thinking that they might surve some purpose, but he
you give Me such directions in relation to the dies
of 1538 now on hand in this Branch M int as the
case requires.
I have the pleasure of informing you
that M. Fylar has got the half dollar coining
