All Official Letters to this Office must be addressed to the "Second Auditor of the Treasury," and in replying to Letters from this Office the initials on the upper left-hand corner should be referred to. ques. Treasury Department, Second Auditor's Office, July 22, 1874. Sir: VoucherNo. 46 of your Pay & Bounty account for april, 1874, cannot be allowed. The process (less 10. fees) of BerkN,610326 were payable to Edmund alias Murphy Bayter and Corilda Baxter alias Stone, as parents of Lewis Stone, late Sergt. Go. 6,116 u.s.b.J. The above designated voucher is for $45., and is receipted by belia Baxter alias Stone, as mother of said Lewis Stone.
