Whiten and Hing Turner of learnatton parish or county of leanoel and State of do solemnly swear that we are neighbors of Alexander bone and have been well acquainted with him for 9 years and 15 years respectively, that he is the identical Hexander Home that he represents hundelf be this Alexander Herore who enlisted in the military service of the United States and served in Company "I" 60ᵗʰ Regiment Writal states loland Fromps and that we are not, jointly or severally, directly or indirectly, interested in any claim which the said Alexander above has or may have against the United States. J.J. Whiteman Herry Jarnes Sworn and subscribed this 27th to before me day of Octobir , 1874, and I hereby certify that the contents of the foregoing affidavit were carefully read by me to the affiants before subscribing their names thereto, and I know the affiants to be credible persons. Seorge Pattison, Judye of Grobate Count Carroll be Mo I Certify That , before whom the above affidavit was made, is a duty authorized to administer oaths, and that the above is his signature. In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and official seal this day of 187 [L.s.] Clerk of the NOTE.-In all cases where a mark is substituted for the written signature, two disinterested witnesses are required.
