All Official Letters to this Office must be addressed to the ' Second Auditor of the Treasury," and in replying to Letters from this Office the initials Ion the upper left-hand corner should be referred to. The name, company, and regiment of the soldier must also be given. Treasury Department, SECOND AUDITOR'S OFFICE, November 20 , 1875. Sir: In reply to your letter of the 13th. instant. you are informed that your certificate of discharge from Suarale Office for transmission to Major cd. K. Arnold 68. B. 73rd US. C. Thas been sent to the Adjutant Distursing Officer at New Orleans La. to whom you should apply therefor, with evidence Respectfully of your identity.
