War Department, Adjutant General's Office, Washington, D.C. april 11. 1874 major A.A. arnold 6ᵗʰ Carry Disbursing officer New Orleans. La. Major: I have the honor to enclose herewith for delivery to the soldier, on proper identification, the discharge certificate of augustus Parkerson, late Prt. C. DC. 82. U.S.C., the same having been received ah this office by transfer from the late Freedmens Burcau. His address as given in a communication to this office dated the 27th ulto. is," Old devee Street. between Marignry and Mandevillo Sh. 3. District, New Deleans, da." Enclosed also is a confidential list in the case, which is furnished for the purpose of aiding in the foldeer's identification.
