Sir,
The accounts you
presented ined and a transmitted few days past, to the have 2nd been auditor. exam All
the items charged will be admitted, except
that for 23-12 pdr. - guns. upon referring to
Sient Simonson's report of his examination
of these guns, I am induced to believe that
some of the defects noted, may be removed.
As the objections to The good are on account
of the exterior dimensions and form of the cas
by putting the guns in the mill again, and
things, it is presumed that they may be removed
turning off some of The inequalities. and also
by turning the mouldings, I would suggest
that this course be pursued if it be practic
cable, and if you are disposed to adopt it,
you will please to inform me of it.
