We look from the North to the South transept of the great Romanesque cathedral. A number of bishops have Just entered, bringing up the rear of the procession, following a glass case containing reliquaries. Banners at the head of the procession are already at the far side of the South transept, where the giant censer, named Botafumeiro, is swinging, suspended from the dome. The beggar crouching on the steps and most of the figures on the floor of the Cathedral, are in outline. The lower margin contains many trial strokes of the dry point, but no words.
