The crucifix
The carved reliefs on the wooden doors of this church, St. Maclou, Rouen, are ascribed to Jean Goujon. Cross-hatching darkens shafts to extreme right of plate and above pulpit. Psalter on lectern darkened. Subject generally enriched.
