The sanctuary of the third Congregational Church. Photo was taken from the rear of the room, down the center aisle of the nave. The room has a painted arched ceiling, also decorated with a painted scroll design. The pulpit, pipe organ and choir boxes are in an arched inset apse in the far wall. The some of the pipe organ pipes have a scroll design painted on them, perhaps a modified flor de lis pattern. The apse walls are a dark wood paneling, but the front of the choir boxes are painted white. The pulpit appears to be a lectern, and stands with a small altar table are directly in front of the pipe organ. The wall framing the apse has patterned wallpaper with a complimentary wallpaper border on the top third of the wall. Three doorways are visible, two on the far side of the broad wall and one leading into the apse. A large gas chandelier with frosted glass globes hangs in the center aisle of the nave. Several rows of pews are in the foreground.
