Text reads, "The above is descriptive of lands of Mr. Eliphalet Perley, being part in Rowley and part in Boxford as pointed out by the dotted line, which line respresents part of the line between the towns of Boxford and Rowley. By [ad]measurement, there appears to be thirty acres, three quarters of an acre and square poles of land in Rowley, viz. on the northerly side of the dotted line, inclusive of the road, and of a corner of land of the heirs of Capt. Jonathan Wood lying in Rowley. Of the southerly side of the line between said towns, there is by [ad]measurement sixty seven acres after deducting the road, southerly of the dotted line. The above was plotted from a scale of sixteen rods to an inch. January 1818. Moses Dorman, surveyor."
