Collection contains the following documents: Letter, 10 February 1755, by Elijah Williams, Deerfield, [Mass.], to Josiah Willard at Boston; Bill by Ezra Clap for keeping soldiers in their march from the lower towns to the frontier; Bill for entertaining the soldiers ordered to Stockbridge 1754-1755; A list of Capt John Hawk's Company late of Col William Regiment now turned over to the Light Infantry under the command of Col Oliver Partridge Esqr, Camp near Fort Edward 22 June 1758; Return of the guard, Camp at Lake George, 2 July 1758 by Lt James Conek; Letter by Gaylord, Hadley, [Mass.], 5 August 1758, to Lieut. Samll Partridge in Col William Williams' Regiment at Lake George; A list of the men belonging to Colonel Partridge's Battalion of Light Infantry who lost blankets in the fight at Ticonderoga, Camp at Lake George, 6 October 1758; A muster roll of Capt Aaron Willard's Company in Col Oliver Partridge's Regt, Camp Lake George 10 October 1758; A muster roll of Capt Caleb Willard's Company in Col Oliver Partridge's Regt, Camp Lake George, 10 October 1758; Muster roll of John Hawk's Company; A list of the several company in Colonel Oliver Partridge's Battalion of the light infantry in camp at Lake George 24 October 1758 including all officers etc.; An estimate of the common stores for a Crown Point expedition; A list of the company lately under the command of Capt James Johnson deceased, now under the command of Ensign John Woolcott in Col Oliver Partridge's Battalion of the light infantry; Receipt of stores returned to John Gentle, Conductor of Stores, dated Lake George 15 October 1758. Blank pages have not been scanned. Oliver Partridge was born 13 June 1712 in Hatfield, Mass., and died 21 July 1792 in Hatfield, Mass. He graduated from Yale in 1730. He married Anna Williams, daughter of Rev William Williams, in 1734. Oliver was commissioned a Colonel in 1754.
