    "description": "Handwritten copy of orders (general, regimental, brigade, etc.) kept by Colonel Jonathan Holman of Sutton, Mass., commander of a regiment of foot stationed at Greenwich and Chelsea Camps in New York. Includes regulations concerning the disbursement of provisions, appointments and court-martials. Daily life in camp is described in orders regulating the conduct of the soliders. These are the best images possible, due to the condition of the original manuscript. The last pages in the volume were partially torn out and were therefore hard to scan. Blank pages in this item have not been scanned.",
