Cottage City was a popular summer resort and the site of both Methodist and Baptist camp meetings. This print depicts the Iron Tabernacle in the center of Wesleyan Grove surrounded by several tents for attendees of the Methodist camp meetings. Eleven vignettes of identified buildings and parks appear under the main view, including Frank C. Smith Real Estate Broker; Residence of W.H. & T.F. Tillinghast; Hayden House; Residence of Hon. G.M. Landers; Vineyard Skating Rink; Residence of A.S. Barnes; Residence of H.A. Tucker, M.D.; Sea View House; Wesley House; and Central House.",
