Anatole France

Anatole France, pseudonym for Jacques Anatole Thibault, celebrated French writer, b. in Paris 1844. Drawn direct on plate. Zorn has a slight contour sketch. The artist states that this etching was done before the other portraits of the celebrated Frenchman executed in 1906.
