The Boy Scouts of America, one of many civic organizations enlisted by the Treasury to assist in the loan drives, sold over 350 million dollars worth of Liberty and Victory bonds. Nearly 70,000 Boy Scouts earned medals for selling bonds to at least 10 investors each.
