The Fowle House, 28 Marshall Street, Watertown, Mass.

During the British occupation of Boston, the seat of the government of Massachusetts was in Watertown. In this house met the committee of the second and third Provincial Congress from April 22, 1775 to July 19, 1775, and the executive council from July 19, 1775 to Sept. 18, 1776.
