Letter from Lucy Stone, Boston, [Massachusetts], to William Lloyd Garrison, 1873 Dec[ember] 5
Lucy Stone writes to William Lloyd Garrison inviting Garrison to a tea party at Faneuil Hall to celebrate "one hundred years since the tea went into Boston Harbor" during the 1773 Boston Tea Party. Stone tells him "the occasion would be very incomplete without your presence" and in the postscript she asks for a response so that "we can make the anouncement."
