Source Description
George Thompson writes to William Lloyd Garrison sharing his regret that he was unable to to meet him in one of the towns in Yorkshire that Garrison proposed. Thompson then discusses his improving health and proposes to meet Garrison in London after he leaves Leeds. He tells Garrison, "I would be every by your side" during his trip if his health were better and "Friends we have been; friends we are; and friends we shall be forever - nor time, nor distance, nor life nor death shall sever us."

Above the salutation the number "219" is written in pencil and in the tail- spine corner of the first page "112B" is also written in pencil.
