Letter from George Bradburn, Boston, [Massachusetts], to George Thompson, 1846 Jan[uary] 2
George Bradburn writes to George Thompson thanking him for his attention in England and Scotland. He hears of him and his "noble doings." He writes of his passage home in which he had "frequent discussions with several slaveholders. He returns to the Legislature to attend his duties, "which I shall endeavor to perform in an Anti-Slavery way." Channing has written another work on emancipation which Garrison will send him a copy. He asks for him to give his regards to Mr. Pease and his daughter. He writes the worst thing for the cause has been the formation of the "third political party."
