Source Description
Isabella Massie writes to Mary Anne Estlin in regards to how glad she is to have a good account of her father and glad to hear of his improved health. She gives her permission to take a copy of the letters and send them to others from E. Sturge and Mrs. Thomas "whose opinions of American nationality is certainly borne out in the speeches of Mrs. Stowe's suite." Her sister and daughter praise a speech by [James Miller] McKim. Mrs. Wooley may not be able to see McKim. She wants the "Bazaar Gazettes" to circulate. She asks if Stowe will be in London and sends her best wishes for her father's full recovery.
