Source Description

Lewis Ford writes to Samuel May about May's proposal to hold meetings in Plymouth County on July 20 and August 3 and 17. He tells May that the Board of the Plymouth County [or Old Colony] Anti-Slavery Society will hold its annual meeting on another Sunday in July. He asks May if he could "send me word whether we can have speakers for the annual meeting, & also one for the 20th, & then I will decide upon a place."
