Source Description

Mary Frisell Manter writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to thanking her for inviting her to her house. She asks if Maria could send her any more Boston female anti-slavery society proceedings found in the Liberator in order to circulate them, as "some people have formed such wrong views of the subject and the New organizing paper has been trieing [sic] to spread wrong information among the people who are not acquainted with the proceeding." She asks for particular editions of the non-resistance papers.
