Mary Clark writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to the preparations for the Concord anti-slavery fair. She requests letters from Maria and her sisters and others for the "Post office" at the fair. She is deeply "indebted to the Boston society for their kindness and sympathy." She says that their "champion" [William Lloyd Garrison] is leaving for London and wishes him a "safe & speedy passage over the great waters!"
