Letter from Charles Calistus Burleigh, Woodstown, N[ew] J[ersey], to Samuel May, [18]53 [June] 27th

Charles C. Burleigh writes to Samuel May after receiving the letter that May had sent to Burleigh's wife, Gertrude K. Burleigh. Bureligh says "it will be impossible" for him to attend the July 4th meetings in Mystic since he will be in Pennsylvania until July 11 or 12. Bureligh says he "shall be able to attend Sunday meetings or meetings on special occasions," as long as they are close to his home. He "expect[s] to be at home constatnly or nearly so, till Fall."
