Source Description
Henry Jones forwards to William Lloyd Garrison a typeset copy of an article that he is hoping to publish in a paper "whose editors are not filtered with a clerical anti-reform influence", and states that the aim of the article is to "low the axe at the root of clerical domination". Asserting his belief that the views expressed therein do not vary greatly from Garrison's own sentiments, Jones issues his work to Garrison for consideration and requests that Garrison forward a copy of the edition in which it appears, should it be published.
