Letter from G. Evans to Samuel May, Jr., [1844?]

Evans provides a detailed account of what appears to have been a meeting of the Worcester County Anti-Slavery Society. Evans mentions the conviction of three men in Palmyra, Missouri for urging slaves to run away, and the mutiny aboard the brig, "Creole."
