Source Description

Samuel May Jr. suggests to William Lloyd Garrison that the women working for the National Anti-Slavery Bazaar be invited to their meeting. He mentions Maria Weston Chapman’s announcement that is to be published in the National Anti-Slavery Standard, and says he asked Oliver Johnson to omit his (May’s) name in the postscript of the announcement. He then discusses the financial contributions of Chapman and other people.
