Letter from Simeon Smith Jocelyn, New Haven, to Amos Augustus Phelps, Nov 14th 1835
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Simeon Smith Jocelyn writes that the manuscript and picture on the District of Columbia is almost ready for publication. He says it will be sent to Congress in the following month, and will ultimately do some good. He praises the week’s Liberator which contained articles by Garrison and Thompson.
