Letter from Lawson Kingsbury, Framingham, to Amos Augustus Phelps, March 30. 1839
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Lawson Kingsbury talks about an anti-slavery address Mr. Brigham delivered, and discusses fund raising for the anti-slavery cause. On the segment added on March 31, Kingsbury discusses Mr. Brigham’s character, and his views respecting antislavery movements.
