Letter from Joshua Leavitt, New York, to Amos Augustus Phelps, July 23, 1841
On the first page of his letter to Amos A. Phelps, Joshua Leavitt copies the resolutions passed at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the American and Foreign Anti-Slavery Society. He then alludes to a financial difficulty the society is experiencing and requests for an aid for his expenses.
