Letter from William H. Little, New York, to Amos Augustus Phelps, May 12 1842
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, William H. Little says he concluded he should marry again for his own sake as well as for his children’s. He request for Phelps’s aid in finding a wife. He says his children need “a kind, gentle, affectionate mother.”
