This letter is signed "Harry" and is presumably by Henry Grafton Chapman. He thanks his mother for the letters, sent with money and clothing. He thinks he can be home by the 16th if he can get enough money for the boat trip. He will not be paid until the 25th of September. All are trying to transfer to the places they came from. The captain of the company asked the writer if he wants to return to Newport, and he said that he would do the best he could for them. Henry has been looking around the city; he tells about the fish in the aquarium and the animals in Central Park.
