Maria Weston Chapman hopes that women will be on hand at the New England Convention and sends circulars for women who might want to come to town at Convention time. She suggests that the Weymouth sewing circle have a table, and offers to supply it with muslin enough for a dozen capes and collars.
Attached to the letter, is a fabric sample. The notation "12 cts. Wide" is written on the muslin.
This letter was written on the blank pages of a circular (flier), a reproduced invitation to the New England Anti-Slavery Convention, dated Boston, May 13th, 1839.
