William Lloyd Garrison gives his impressions of Baltimore. The jail in which he was once confined has been torn down. He attended the "National Convention for the nomination of President and Vice President of the U.S." President Lincoln was renominated. Garrison met William G. Brownlow. Garrison will go to Washington with Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Tilton. He hopes George Thompson has recovered from his illness.
