Letter from Henry W. Davison, Kingston, Jamaica, (W.I.), to William Lloyd Garrison, May 8th, 1851
Henry W. Davison recollects on the early days of the abolitionist cause. He discusses his unemployment and financial difficulties. He asks William Lloyd Garrison for capital in order to start a temperance eating house and sell home-made preserves.
