Letter from John Bishop Estlin, Bristol, to Samuel May, June 20th, 1848

Estlin writes a letter of transmittal accompanying copies of the French edition of "A Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass." He informs May that no reference was made to American slavery at the last Unitarian meeting, but there was a debate on anti-supernaturalism.
