Source Description

Webb begins with an explanation of certain subscriptions to "The Liberator." He says that Harriet Martineau paid part of the customs charges on the annual box of pamphlets and reports. Webb tells of the conversion of William Chambers to abolitionism. He declines financial aid for "The Anti-Slavery Advocate" and asks May to help him in connection with a book that he published for a man named Hennessy.
