Letter from Samuel May, Leicester, [Mass.], to Richard Davis Webb, Feb. 20, 1871
May tells Webb that the Worcester Public Library should have acknowledged the receipt of Webb's donation of copies of the "National Anti-Slavery Standard" and "The Liberator." May comments on the severity of the winter weather in Birmingham, England and Leicester, Massachusetts. He tells of his daughter Bessie's recent visits to New York and Washington. May mentions Francis Jackson Garrison's new position with the Riverside Press.
