Source Description
William Logan informs William Lloyd Garrison that he has received the Liberator, and encloses a copy of a letter by Frederick Douglass which appeared in the Times. Logan states that he will be leaving for Scotland for a period of six months, and conveys to Garrison his mailing address while in Glasgow. Logan states that Dr. Chalmers of the Free Church (whom he identifies as the "companion of Dr Length the slave") has died.
