Holograph, signed.
This letter is concerned with an engraving which Thomas Earle found hanging in a parlor. Earle therefore does not know if Mrs. Chapman would like to part with it, but he thinks it would do much good in Worcester, exhibited at anti-slavery meetings. He asks again whether it would be "perfectly satisfactory" for him to take it.
See Call No. Ms.A.9.2 V.24, p.73 for a related letter written on April 30, 1849, by Thomas Earle to Anne Warren Weston, discussing this same engraving.
