James Miller M'Kim had tea with Mrs. Lucretia Mott, at her daughter's house (Mrs. Lord) in Brooklyn, and found her "unusually amiable & pleasant as touching late controversies." M'Kim was glad to hear from Maria W. Chapman that she and Mrs. Mott have met and that Maria W. Chapman "testified."
