"Caroline Weston forwards the resolutions concerning the relation of local abolitionists to the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society, which have been suited to the case in New Bedford. She recounts at length the refusal of Mary S. Parker, supported by Catherine M. Sullivan and the Misses Ball, to hold a meeting of the Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society. She offers advice as to the conduct of the female society (of New Bedford), and exhorts Debora Weston also to get an expression of opinion from the men of New Bedford favorable to Caroline(?) Chase's petition, \"for the Legislature have passed a truly infamous report.\" Caroline quotes a set of resolutions in reference to this report. Caroline Weston will wait to hear from New Bedford, but does not believe that they will offer enough. Caroline Weston favors Debora Weston's plan of giving up her place [teaching position] to Anne Warren Weston. She tells about the work of her own school."
