Note by H.W.: The only other proof known to me (and that a very much retouched one) is in the collection of Guy J.F. Knowles, Esq. and it seems not unlikely that these two proofs are the only ones in existence, especially as the plate was subsequently sand-grained, and became impression number 225 of the Catalogue and was given the title "Le Poète"
