Three-quarters view to the right. Done at the printer's and two proofs pulled. The mezzotint has been strengthened with drypoint lines. The only other impression from the plate, which is the second state, is in the British Museum.
Front view, in a skull-cap; nose curved, mouth thin, chin smooth. Drypoint lines have been reinforced in the face, and strokes added on left shoulder. 10 impresions only.
