Origin: Written in Austria in 1319, possibly at the Benedictine abbey in Admont; the manuscript was at the abbey by 1380, as it is described in the library catalog compiled that year: "Albumasar de meditacionibus cordis. Incipit. In disponendis. In eodem. Liber absconditorum messahale. Et. Liber convinctionis vel receptionis messahale. Et. Liber alchabicii introductorii iudiciorum astronomie. Et. Secundus liber haly de electionibus particularibus. Et. Liber iudiciorum Zahelis ysrahelite." (see Wichner, p. 528).
