Enclosed is a photograph of "Miss Pickle" who will be visiting your city on June 17 through June 19. She will be staying at the Statler Hilton Hotel. Miss Pickle, who is really Miss Jane Phillips, is making a nationwide tour of major U.S. cities disseminating information about pickles from many viewpoints. We believe her store of information and the tour itself offers good photo and story material for you. She represents Pickle Packers International, Inc. For example, Miss Pickle can not only discuss history, production techniques, oddball statistics, nutritional values, recipes and pickle serving suggestions, she also has her own pickle "props." These include the "Squeaky Dill," a plastic dill pickle which when squeezed emits a pip-squeak; her own currency, the new "Dillion Diller" banknote, which is the only "money" absolutely good for nothing anywhere in the world; and her own election campaign buttons which proclaim "Vote For Pickles, the People's Choice," and "Vote for People, the Pickle's Choice." She could present candidates of both parties with an actual jar of her own pickles "Packed Especially For Miss Pickle" and urge them to keep the country out of a pickle and "get into these pickles only."
