On the base of this bowl are an underglaze blue inscription, reading \"Fine vessel for the rich and honorable (fugui jiaqi),\" as well as a modern registration mark \"PDF A552\" to indicate that it was formerly in the Sir Percival David collection in London. A similar kinrande bowl can be found in the Percival David Foundation, PDF A549.",
